This is a bug in the .Net Topology Suite. Dan is considering having a full-time programmer work on setting up the geoprocessing for both MapWindow4 and DotSpatial to work through DotSpatial.Topology, and have that programmer set up unit tests to compare situations between NTS, JTS and DotSpatial.Topology so that we can start cleaning up any exceptions that are creeping in. If Dan's full-time programmer gets side-tracked with other goals then I will take this on myself. It is in the depths of some extremely challenging geometry code, and may trace back to an exception that still exists in JTS, so there is no guarantee. All we can hope to do for now is try to reduce the errors that we have that do not exist in JTS.

Thanks for reporting this though. I will post this as a bug tied to DotSpatial.Topology for our most likely path for fixing this in the future.
