I realize Mapwindow is an open source project, and thus I do not want to break any "free licensing" protocols. I have to note that I have not used any original code from either the Mapwindow interface or existing plugins.
Would I be able to bundle my plugin with the official Mapwindow gis, as an all-in-one installer? Is this allowed?

Hi Peter,
You can sell you plug-ins if you so choose. There have been a few other commercial packages that were released as MapWindow plug-ins. Mostly what the authors would do it offer their tool as a download-able purchase and link to the MapWindow website indicating that their software was a paid extension to the open source MapWindow project.
