Thanks for the update Poom.
I, however, don't understand your comparison table.
The value for the old engine is always 1 and the new engine is more than 1.
That suggest the old engine is faster.

Nice to hear from you.
It is the speed comparison not time comparison . For example, if the old engine has a speed equal to 1 and the new engine has a speed equal to 2. That means new engine is faster than the old engine one times. You can see that new engine is a little bit slower only when inserting rows to PostGIS while it is 15 times faster when add new layer to MapWindow.
For someone who want to test it now, you can download the trial key on the link below and place the key "DataClient.bin" in the DataClient installation folder (ex C:\Program Files\MapWindow\Plugins\DataClient). The trial period is 30 days from 22 November 2011.
