Actually i want to create a wpf application which having the ability to work with shpaefiles.For that purpose i am trying to create a .net forms control library with map window mapcontrol and some .net controls. After that i am planning to add it to wpf.But while building .net forms control librar
is it possible to create a windows forms control library by using mapwindow component?

how to resolve this? or other wise is there any way to directly use mapwindow and its functionality in wpf. I am using mapwindow ocx 4.8

if you don't need a visual component then why not just use the MapWinGIS namespace? You don't need to add controls for that since I believe its just pure code.
