Hi Folks, is it possible to export some of the data (eg. some imported shp file data) into Sql Server 2008? I noticed there was a Spatial Converter plugin .. which exports to cvs/dbf/xls .. maybe one of these file formats is usable to import into sql server 2008?

That is a good idea.

Just submit an enhancement request in Mantis, our issue tracker and when we've got the time we can implement it.
If you can you can make the changes yourself as well.
