Hi,
I have a problem to overlay my two layers (map of uk and points). They look like spread apart and the layer with points looks zoomed out. So basicaly the result I have is one dot next to the UK map. I set the same Project Projection for both files. Initialy I had a CSV file with coordinates Lat and Long then I converted it into a shapefile. The problem is that during the convertion process it takes the Lat/Long coordinates as X/Y which I dont think are the same. Therefore the points layer looks so small in comparison to the Uk layer and the locations are different than supposed to be. How can I solve this problem? Do I have to have the coordinates in X/Y system (not Lat/Long)? How can I convert the point layers coordinates into X/Y? I got the Lat/Long coordinates using the following Lat/Long finder

Thx for any advises.
