I would like to set the default behavior for the upsampling of images to be "none" instead of the system default of "bilinear."
I can't seem to find an option to do that, could someone point me in the correct direction? Thanks!
Background: Since I am displaying geographic data and not a "picture" type of imagery, the bilinear upsampling is not appropriate. It does smooth out pixelated edges, but those edges are, in fact, important components of the data. Smoothing them leads to challenges in interpretation of the data. I wonder if bilinear upscaling should be the default system behavior. Thoughts?
Perhaps we should move this setting to the application settings.
Currently it is hard-coded.
It will be some work. I can try after San Diego.

Thanks for the clarification. I support making it a user-configurable parameter, but not until after San Diego. I look forward to seeing you and others there!
