I have made some new plugins like Shape2Kml, Shape2Gml and Shape2GeoJSON. Feel free to download them and distribute them as you like. Following is a link to the uploaded plugins:

Shape2Gml and Shape2GeoJSON have been coded completely.

Shape2Kml is still in the beta stage but works fine.

Start using them and let me know if made any mistake in defining some tags.

Normally we don't include plug-ins in the installer that we don't have the source code for.
We've made an exception for the Data Client plug-in created by Poom, I'm willing to do another exception for your set of plug-ins.

Do you want your plug-ins to be part of the next MapWindow installer?
The binaries need to be compiled for Release|x86 using VS2008 and for .NETv3.5

It would be nice to have my tools included in the installer. I am using and compiling the tools using VS2008. I have checked the loading of the plugins with your new mapwindow 4.8.3 version and they are working fine.

You can always find the updated plugins of mine on the plugins page or I can also upload the dlls directly into the plugins folder of the subversion.

As of now i am trying to make some small changes to the exported kml, gml, geojson and gpx files, so that they can also be loaded into qgis for visualization.

later i will be coming up with tools that transform these formats to shapefile.

Thanks for all the efforts.
We've made some changes to the interface making your plug-ins not working anymore.
You'll just need to recompile them using the latest binaries and then they should work again.
This is one of the main reasons we don't ship binaries we cannot compile ourself.

And you might also consider adding your plug-ins to the new toolbox:
[www.mapwindow.org]

This toolbox replaces 'GIS Tools' and makes it possible to add custom tools.
