Does anyone have tips on getting the EPA BASINS model to work with Mapwindow 4.8.6? It works (sort of) with 4.8.1, but I'd like to take advantage of the improvements in the code. Bob Hudson University of Illinois

What exactly is not working? Do you mean parallel installation of both? If so install MapWindow the last one and clean %AppData%\MapWindow\ between changing application.
We recently had to deal with parallel installation. The best approach would involve RegSvrEx /c instead of RegSvr32 . However on machines it was installed to any write even to HKCU registry hive is disabled. Luckily OCX from 4.8.6 works fine in BASINS 4.
