Erase Shapefile With Polygon

This tool allows the user to create holes within a polygon area.

Click on [GIS TOOLS]

Click on [VECTOR]

Click on [ERASE SHAPEFILE WITH POLYGON]

The following will appear

Select the shapefile to erase

Select the shapefile to erase with

Name the result file and file location

Click [OK]. The new shapefile with an erased portion can be added to the legend as a separate layer.

Return to Menu
