GISTools User's Guide

This is the User's Guide for the GIS Tools MapWindow Plug-in.
The GIS Tools plug-in was developed as a means to expose useful functionality that exists at the API (Application Programming Interface) level in a way that end-users could take advantage of, without needing programming knowledge.
After first enabling the plug-in in MapWindow through the Plug-Ins menu, you'll see the GIS Tools menu. On this menu, you will find:
Raster
This menu item contains operations which may be performed on raster data items, including USU Binary Grids, ESRI Grids, ASCII Grids, and GeoTIFF grids.
Vector
This menu item contains operations which may be performed on vector data items, such as ESRI shapefiles.
Image
This menu item contains operations which may be performed on image data items.
As the libraries grow, additional functionality will appear within this plug-in, and this document will be subsequently updated.
