Georeference Image or Grid
This tool is for registering an image to a Geo-Spatial reference system by specifying the location of three points on the image.
To georeference an image or grid:
First load georeferenced data into MapWindow map
Click on [GIS Tools]
Click on [Raster]
Click on [Georeference Image or Grid]
Load the image/grid file to be georeferenced into the map
Click on [Select Points] and select three points on the image
Click on corresponding points on MapWindow map
To finish, Click on [Georeference]
This will create a world file for the image or grid.
