Area
Computes the area of a polygon. For multi-part polygons, assume holes are counter-clockwise. The function has two overloaded versions. The second version also works for unprojected shapes in Latitude / Longitude (Decimal degrees) coordinates.

Remarks
Before calculating area of large shapes, make sure your shape has an equal-area projection.
