Reproject A Shapefile
This tool will take an existing shapefile and reproject the data from one projection to another projection.
Click on [GIS TOOLS]
Click on [VECTOR]
Click on [REPROJECT A SHAPEFILE]
Select file that will be reprojected and click [OPEN]
Select the appropriate projection to be applied and click [OK]
If the file has no projection information, you will be asked to specify the current projection of the shapefile.
Select the current shapefile projection and click [OK].
Select [YES] to add shapefile to the map if required.
